Something about me

On Board Szentendre, Hungary Alanya 2004 Alanya 2005 Elsen 2005 Alanya 2009 Bayern

That's me.

The photographs were taken in Alanya/Turkey in June 2001, June 2002, May 2004 and May 2005 except the third from left which was taken in Szentendre/Hungary (Oct 2002).

My interests are many-sided besides music, computing, photography and sailing.

Also I like to hear and collect Rock 'n' Roll Music from the vaults of SUN-, Del-Fi, Imperial-, Coral-, Specialty-Records. I like the outtakes from known recordings, too.

My favourite musicians are Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, The Fireballs, The Beach Boys, Little Richard Penniman, Tracy Pendarvis, Chan Romero, The Spotnicks, Cliff Richard and The Shadows, Hank Ballard and the Midnighters, Bobby Freeman, Johnny Otis and his Orchestra (Chuggy Otis and Delmar Evans, too).
Especially I like the DCS-Mixes by twodawgzz.

In the mid 60th I've been 'On The Air' as your host of "Night Piquet" on "Radio Canadian Army Europe" (Radio CAE), Werl near Soest (North Rhine Westfalia). "Tuff (Cattywampus)" performed by Ace Cannon was that often requested intro.

At this place I'll give my best regards to Private Ed Melanson and to my studio guests Sharman Mortimer from Bierton (Aylesbury), Buckinghamshire and Karin Heinrichs (Stoermede, County Lippstadt). Sorry, I can't remember my third female guest.
The former sound engineer "Texas" Heinz Gunnesson died suddenly and unexpected on May 11, 2007.
Sharman Mortimer (born March 18, 1951) passed away on June 8, 2015. I'll remember both of them.

If you have a relation to this time please contact me by eMail.

Especially I thank EROC for his kind information regarding CAE.
